American River Lacrosse Shines at Pacific Highlight Tournament
American River Lacrosse Team Celebrates Win

The American River Lacrosse Eagles took 2nd Place at the Pacific Highlight tournament in Dublin on August 1st, 2010. The Eagles were undefeated in pool play on Saturday, with wins over Triple Threat Risers, Sacramento Heat, and Blue Dog Lax, earning them the number one seed on Sunday. In the semi-finals, American River defeated Blue Dog 7-4, then headed to the Championships where they had their only loss of the tournament to Triple Threat with a final score of 9-7.

Shelbi Tooley, Granite Bay High School Class of 2011, was our Pacific Highlight Tournament MVP. Savannah Hadley, Pleasant Grove High School Class of 2012, also received an award for her outstanding level of play throughout the weekend.

American River Lacrosse is comprised of players from area high schools and middle schools throughout the Sacramento region. Congratulations to the Pacific Highlight team on their achievement and for a highly successful summer season!
