Angelo starts off the 2012 tournament year for EDHBJJ by winning the All Tourney Belt Championships at Warrior's Quest! Scores were kept from previous Warrior's Quest Tournaments in 2011, and the culminated with the BELT CHAMPIONSHIPS to decide the All Tourney Champion. Angelo won the previous Warrior's Quest Tournament with a triangle submission. The competition was much tighter this time around as he was competing in a higher weight class, and amongst more experienced yellow belt competitors. He was able to pull through, shutting out his opponent with a 5-0 decision in the finals.

Angelo has had to manage a rigorous schedule since this fall, balancing his academics with Wrestling, Brazilian Jiujitsu, and not to mention his responsibilities at home and as an older brother. He is a great role model for his younger brothers and peers both on and off the mat. We're excited to see his progress in 2012! The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament was hosted by Rio Linda High School in Sacramento, CA.
